# Installation Troubleshooting

## FAQ for True Fit's Shopify App

 

If you are strugging to install our Shopify app, place the widget, or load recommendations, please contact [True Fit Support](https://www.truefit.com/support). 

 

- **How do I place the True Fit widget?** 
    - After installing the app, merchants can use our drag-and-drop functionality to place the True Fit widget on the Product Detail Page. Check out our [installation video](https://help.truefit.com/adding-the-true-fit-widget-to-the-pdp).
- **I use Shopify 1.0 and do not have the drag-and-drop feature. How do I place the Widget?** 
    - Check out our step-by-step instructions (below the video) on [Adding the True Fit Widget](https://help.truefit.com/adding-the-true-fit-widget-to-the-pdp)
- **Where do I find my Client ID?** 
    - If you are using Shopify 2.0 and require the client ID for your integration, please reach out to [support@truefit.com](mailto:support@truefit.com?subject=where%20is%20my%20client%20ID) for assistance.
    - If you are using Shopify 1.0 and require the client ID for your integration, this can be found by navigating to the True Fit App, and selecting True Fit Placement.
- **How long does it take for the True Fit widget to appear on my site after implementation?** 
    - Recommendations will start to populate within 24 hours of adding the True Fit widget.
- **I have installed the App and placed the widget onto my Product Template. It has been 48 hours, and the widget is not showing. Is there an issue?** 
    - Recommendations will start to populate within 24 hours of adding the new product styles to the site. If you do not see the True Fit widget after 24 hours, please [contact Support.](https://www.truefit.com/support)
- **The True Fit Widget was live on my site, and has now disappeared. Is there an issue?** 
    - Please try to clear your browsing history or try opening the site in a new, private window. If you are still having issues with the widget rendering, please email [support@truefit.com](mailto:support@truefit.com), with direct links to products that are not showing the widget.
- **I added new product styles to my website, and the widget is not showing. Is there something additional I need to do?** 
    - Recommendations will start to populate within 24 hours of adding the new product styles to the site.
    - If you do not see the True Fit widget after 24 hours, please [contact Support.](https://www.truefit.com/support)
    - Please note that True Fit can only provide size recommendations for footwear and apparel items being sold in two or more sizes.
