Shopify Data Requirements

Data required to make a recommendation. 

To generate accurate size recommendations on your site, True Fit requires the following data:

  • Product Catalog Data

  • Order Data

  • Returns Data (optional)

If you're using the True Fit Shopify app, data is collected automatically:

  • Product Catalog: Collected via the Shopify Product API, which includes product descriptions, available sizes, locales, prices, metafields, and more.

  • Order Data: Captured automatically through Shopify’s checkout pixel.

  • Returns Data (Optional): While not required for recommendations, providing returns data is highly encouraged. It helps enhance the recommendations and improves the insights provided in your reporting.

Performance Reporting

Order and returns data are used to measure the performance and value of True Fit on your site.
